As a British manufacturer we understand the importance of environmental responsibility. We are committed to sustainable practices throughout all operations within our business. From design conception, sourcing raw materials to lean manufacturing in producing reliable, durable products, we strive to make a positive impact on the environment. We have streamlined manufacturing processes to ensure low energy consumption and use sustainable packaging for all products.
We endeavour to work with suppliers who share our commitment to the environment. Our equipment is designed for energy efficiency, helping our customers reduce their overall environmental impact.
How We Package and Recycle Products
- Only compostable and bio-degradable bags are used for packaging.
- We use glassine bags for all our consumable metalware products. Brown paper kraft tape is used to wrap and secure our packages.
- Where possible, we recycle cardboard boxes for packing materials and local companies deliver their unwanted cardboard boxes to us to shred and use as our own packing material.
- Redundant metalware stock is delivered to our local Scrap Store (registered charity) where educational establishments and the local community can use these for crafts and projects.
- Old un-repairable returned products are broken down to component level which are then recycled.
Planting Trees
Trees clean our air and water, create habitats for biodiversity, contribute to our health and wellbeing, and create jobs for social impact. We’re honoured to have reforestation through One Tree Planted as an integral part of our business model.
