Controls
Simple digital LED controller for setting temperature with 1°C increments. Temperatures can be easily and rapidly set with the push button, wipe clean control panel. Temperature setting is retained in memory, even after ‘power off’. Illuminated on/off switch and heater indication lamp. We verify the performance of every bath calibrating its controls and water temperature for consistent temperature control in use.
Heating and Sensors
Heaters and temperature sensor are concealed under the tank providing an easy to clean working area. The heating footprint covers the underside of the tank and with a low mass provides rapid energy transfer, resulting in quicker heat up times and a reduction in energy consumption and improved temperature uniformity.

Clifton clear gable lids help reduce evaporation, assist in keeping samples in a water bath free from contamination and save energy. These gable lids with a high profile allows extended use of the bath, right into the edges of the tank. No drip points to contaminate samples. Stainless Steel Flat Lid
When fitted, this lid prevents contamination of liquid from airborne particles. Can also be useful when a Clifton water bath is ‘in use’, minimising heat loss, saving energy, and assisting to maintain bath temperature ready for the next application. The lid is fitted with an insulated handle.

Clifton stainless steel hinged gable lids reduce evaporation, assist in keeping samples in a water bath free from contamination and save energy. These stainless steel gable lids with a high profile design allow extended
use of the bath, right into the edges of the tank. No drip points and condensate returns back into the bath.
Hinged lids have a number of benefits in use over lift off lids, they simply hinge open, any condensation collects in the lid, samples can be easily removed or placed in water bath. Close the lid and all the collected condensation runs into rear of the water bath.

Stainless Steel Concentric Ringed Lid
The lid and rings are manufactured from stainless steel. The concentric rings provide varying hole diameters in the lid. In use the lid minimises evaporation and maintains temperature stability of the water bath when tall vessels are being heated at elevated temperatures.

Unique record number for traceability. Serial number of the unit. Instrument it was checked against. Calibration temperature and actual sensitivity results. - The measurement of uncertainty ±0.8°C. Ambient temperature 21°C ±3°C.
