Safety Features
• Thermal cut out fitted in the heater.
• The under/over temperature alarm is automatically set 4˚C above and 4˚C below set temperature. When in alarm condition the indicator illuminates and the actual bath temperature is shown. If bath is over temperature heating is switched off. Once liquid temperature has fallen or risen above/below the alarm setting, the indicator clears and actual bath temperature is shown and the control resumes.

Controls
Featuring a bold LED display of measured temperatures in real-time and in increments of ±0.1°C, using a precision PID temperature controller. Temperature settings are retained in the memory, even after the unit has been turned off. Easy to use controls, utilising touch keypads for setting temperature values. Features auto setting temperature alarm protecting samples at set temperature. Every unit undergoes a factory calibration at two temperatures for validation.
Speed Control
Shaking control 0 to 400 strokes / 0 to 200rpm – stroke length variable up to 40mm (excluding NE5-10D which is fixed at 20mm). Opening the side access port allows stroke length to be varied.
Heating and Sensors
Heaters and temperature sensor are concealed under the tank providing an easy to clean working area. The heating footprint covers the underside of the tank and with a low mass provides rapid energy transfer, resulting in quicker heat up times and a reduction in energy consumption and improved temperature uniformity.
Heating Information
Above 60°C it is recommended that to achieve optimum performance the bath should be covered with a lid or layer of polypropylene spheres – see accessories. Covering the bath with a lid reduces energy consumption and running costs.

Stainless Steel Hinged Gable Lid
Clifton stainless steel hinged gable lids reduce evaporation, assist in keeping samples in a water bath free from contamination and save energy. These stainless steel gable lids with a high profile design allow extended
use of the bath, right into the edges of the tank. No drip points and condensate returns back into the bath.
Hinged lids have a number of benefits in use over lift off lids, they simply hinge open, any condensation collects in the lid, samples can be easily removed or placed in water bath. Close the lid and all the collected condensation runs into rear of the water bath.

Stainless Steel Test Tube Racks
Laboratory test tube rack, stainless steel 304 spec 18/8 non-magnetic, bright finish. Supplied flat packed ready for assembly. Can be cleaned with detergents, ultrasonics or autoclaved. Durable and stable in use with looped handles for easy retrieval from hot water baths.

Stainless Steel Flask Clips
For personalised clip arrangement, clips are supplied with all necessary fixings to enable them to be attached to the perforated tray SBF01804. It is possible to mix and match a variety of clips sizes to suit different applications. Easy to assemble and remove flask clips from perforated tray. Flask clips are highly flexible/elastic design, allowing glassware to easily slide into the clip and yet remain secure during shaking/mixing. No sharp edges to cut or score glassware. Can be autoclaved.

Stainless Steel Flask Clip Tray
A perforated tray, complete with flask clips to suit common sizes of glass/polypropylene Erlenmeyer flasks. The tray simply drops onto the reciprocating trolley and locates snugly. The NE5-28 is supplied with a trolley platform to accommodate universal spring tray, flask clip trays and test tube rack trays. The NE5-28 can hold 1 clip tray from the below range.

Accommodates up to four racks from 690x series. Tray and side clips are supplied ready for easy assembly. For the NE5-28 a test tube rack tray with side clips allows up to 4 test tube racks to be fitted. The tray simply drops onto the reciprocating trolley.

Stainless Steel Universal Spring Tray to Fit 28 Litre Bath
Universal spring clip tray a multi-spring tray for accommodating a variety of flasks and bottle types of various sizes. Featuring a criss-cross pattern of springs, flasks and bottles can be easily inserted and removed.
The NE5-28 is supplied with a trolley platform to accommodate universal spring tray, flask clip trays and test tube rack trays.
Number of flasks which can be accommodated:
25ml and 50ml = 5 rows 7 deep = 35 flasks or bottles
100ml = 3 rows 5 deep = 15 flasks or bottles
500ml = 2 rows 3 deep = 6 flasks or bottles
1000ml = 1 row 2 deep = 2 flasks or bottles.
