Digital hotplate features a precision PID control providing accurate temperature setting and control, for refined hotplate sensitivity. Temperature and time settings are retained in memory, even after power off.

Featuring a hob surface, which is solid aluminium, 12mm thick for excellent thermal properties and uniform heat distribution over its working area. This overlaps the body to ensure that no spillages enter the controls.

The hob overlaps the base ensuring spillages do not ingress into the controls.

Each hotplate is uniquely identified with its own serial number recorded on our product database, which includes manufacturing inspection data. Electrically tested for safety at final inspection and a test certificate enclosed in rear of the instruction book.

Easily converted into a sand bath with accessory kit for direct immersion of samples.

Safety Features

• IP rated clear booted on/off power switch.

• Visual warning, indicating the hob is hot.

• The temperature alarm is automatically set 10˚C above set temperature. When in alarm condition the indicator illuminates and actual hotplate temperature is shown, if hotplate is over temperature heating is switched off. Once hob temperature has fallen below the alarm setting the indicator clears and actual hob temperature is shown.

• Fitted with non-slip rubber feet.

• Hob overlaps the body to reduce chance of spillages entering the controls.

Featuring bold LED display of measured temperatures in real-time, increments of 1°C, using precision PID temperature control. Setting for hob temperature only or combination of temperature and time. Timer setting variable in 1-minute increments from 00:01 (hh:mm) to 99:59 (hh:mm) with audible and visual end message on completion. Settings retained in memory. Easy to use touch keypads for setting time and temperature values with indicators for heating, over temperature alarm and timer. The hotplate can be set to run at a set temperature. Timer activates once set temperature is reached. Features auto setting over temperature alarm protecting samples. Every unit undergoes a factory calibration at two temperatures for validation.
